> Aero Dancing I is shaping up to be quite a sequel. I have seen preview movies of it in action, thanks to the recently released Aero Dancing FSD. It's awesome! For sure, there will be tons of aircraft along with dogfighting, escort, and surface attack missions! Only a few more months of anxious preparations. Check out the new pix below... 11.05.2000 > This is fantastic. CRI continues to pump out flight sims under the Aero Dancing banner! The latest iteration concentrates on the Dreamcast's built-in internet capabilities by offering an online mode with up to four players! Just like with Aero Dancing F, many new aircraft, maps, and missions await our anxious DC controllers as well... > Do you want a choice of aircraft??? Good... Aero Dancing I offers the following: A-7E, MiG-29 Fulcrum, AV-8B Harrier, F-1, F-2, F-4, F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Falcon, F/A-18 Hornet, F-86F, F-104 Starfighter, T-2, T-3, T-4, and more!!! Wow, this game is going to be hot for sure (at least as far as aircraft selection). I do wonder, however, how CRI is going to handle the complicated V-STOL (vertival/short take off and landing) control for the Harrier? Going by past releases, I'm sure they won't screw it up. > You say a variety of modes would be welcome??? Great... Aero Dancing I offers the following: Internet Battle (up to four players), Missions (30), Free Flight (oh yeah), Versus Link (get a link cable man), Replay Theater, Training, and Hangar (whew...). I hope the missions include some ground targets this time around. If I get positive word, I'll update the preview. > If that's not enough, CRI is updating the graphics engine even more. Better textures, more scenery variety, improved vapor trails, and more realistic after burning (to name a few). If you like to fly, then keep your eyes peeled for this one. > Importing should be relatively easy, especially for seasoned pilots out there. As usual, internet playability will not be available to import buyers. The Versus Link mode will he hot though... |
