INTRO:
         > This game is where Sakura Taisen meets Columns. It basically a revision of this classic Sega puzzle game. Beautiful graphics and cool gameplay is what awaits you in this, the second Sakura Taisen game (before Sakura Taisen 2). It's really funny how well this game is selling in Japan; it seems the Sakura universe can turn everything into a great success...
GRAPHICS:
         > High resolution sprites with lots of character portraits (they go showing as you make lines). In some parts of the game they can be very spectacular. The story mode is graced with a graphic engine similar to the first Sakura Taisen (which is excellent).
CONTROL:
         > The control is just the same as the original Columns ( I think It doesn't need explanation ^_^). Gameplay is extremely original and makes the original Columns a lot funnier: as you go making lines you charge a power gauge. When the bar is charged, you can choose if you want to attack your rival or defend yourself. To top it off, the characters you can choose from have different abilities (attack, defense, etc...).
SOUND:
         > Lots of voices from Sakura Taisen characters plus wonderful remixes of the original BGM.
FUN:
         > If the classic Columns was one of the most addictive games, this new version will keep you in front of your TV for hours... and if you play the battle mode with friends, you will get double enjoyment.
         > The story mode is something you will instantly love. It's a mini-adventure based in Sakura Taisen where you go through different trials. You can also make LIPS choices!!
BOTTOM LINE:
     > If you're looking for a great puzzle game for the 32-bit wonder, this title will not disappoint you.
Overall: 8.8 | Graphics: 8.5 | Control: 8.5 | Sound: 9.0 | Fun: 9.0
